Elder Tony, Elder Wren, Archdruid Karl
Archdruid Karl Schlotterbeck, MA, CAS, is a longtime student of the Druid way (including the Druid grade of OBOD), a shaman, drummer, and licensed psychologist. He was elected to the Councel of Elders in 2003 and selected as Archdruid in July of 2009. Karl was reelected in 2012 for another nine-year term.
He is the author of Living Your Past Lives: The Psychology of
Past-Life Regression (iUniverse 2002 revision), The Karma In Your Relationships (iUniverse 2003), and Lion of Satan, Lion of God (co-author), and other manuscripts in progress. He lives in Minnesota with his wife, children
and assorted animals.
Elder Tony is one of the cofounders of the Henge of Keltria. He has been a follower of the Druid Path since the early 70's. In the 1980's he initiated into and was elevated to the a second degree Druid in Ar nDraiocht Fein; he also completed the Bardic Grade material with The Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids. Tony co-authored The Henge of Keltria Book of Ritual and was Editor-in-Chief of "Keltria: A Journal of Druidism and Celtic Magick." Tony was elected to the Council of Elders in 1996 and reelected in 2005 for a second nine-year term.. He held the position of Archdruid from 1996 until 2009. He currently lives in Maine with his wife and three cats.
Wren has been active in the NeoPagan community since 1979. As an avid festival participant, she conducted classes and workshops in Keltrian Druidism and related subjects, utilizing the disciplines of Bard, Seer and Druid. Wren also served three consecutive terms as president of the Henge from 1997 to 2003, and then as vice-president from 2003 to 2009. She is in the Ring of the Oak and was elected to the Council of Elders in 2000 and reelected in 2009. In her “spare” time, she enjoys tending her large collection of houseplants, playing with her four cats and the company of her beloved husband. She also makes it a point to travel to remote quarries and dig for elusive gemstones to have cut and set into jewelry.
