Issue 33 - Imbolc/Spring 1997

Ancient Bard

by

Christopher Dendy

Ancient Bard.
Of mystical times,
Singing songs,
of mystic rhymes...

Teacher of Ancestral Lore,
Sing to me once more...

Sing of battles fought,
of times forgot,
of magick's sought ---

Sing to me once more...

Sing of our brothers and sisters,
Of the great they've done,
Sing of Myth,
Of victories won.

Sing your powerful songs,
To enchant our minds,
To teach us lessons,
To awaken the Divine

Ancient Bard,
Sing to me once more.
